Both of my kids have played multiple games at this rink. It's a nice arena that has Hat Trick Hockey shop connected to it if you end up in need of skate sharpening and/or any hockey equipment. Very nice concession stand. There isn't a lot of parking space in the lot and many people usually end up parking on the street. The rink is located close to the Albertville Outlet Mall, if you are looking for something to do before the game or to kill time in between games if you're there for a tournament. Lots of great restaurants located near by as well.

I'll start with talking about Blue(new). This is the main rink in this arena. It's very nice and is comfortable to sit in. Lots of bench seating on one side of the rink. You can also view this rink from the concession stand/lobby area. There is an elevator that can take those in need up to the stands/lobby/entrance levels. Its a cute smaller size elevator that moves a little on the slow side. There are bathrooms on the upper level and entrance area. 

Now for Gold(old)/cold rink. Be prepared to freeze when in this rink. I don't usual buy stuff from the concession stands but a hot chocolate was needed when I was there last weekend to help warm me up. It's cold in here and you "get" to sit on metal benches. My toes were frozen by the end of the game. There are heaters but I'm not sure when they use them, I have never been in there when they have been on. Another key information that might be helpful for you while visiting this Gold/old/cold rink, if you are the lucky winner of penalty box worker for this rink be on alert-there is not glass protecting you while in the box. We had a mom almost get hit with a puck last weekend. Enjoy seeing your breath while cheering for your team.

Moose Sherritt Ice Arena - Monticello

 ðŸ§ŠðŸ§ŠðŸ§Š This is a rink that we have been to numerous times throughout my sons youth hockey time. They are in our district and this is another rink that sticks out to me and many others. Its not a super cold rink but the thing that sticks out the most to many of us about this rink is that they have a heat pay station. Bleacher Heaters "want to warm up?" 15 minutes for $1 - This is what the sign above the pay station says. As a hockey family we have more than paid our dues and shouldn't have to pay to sit comfortably to watch our children play.  so far, this is the only rink that I have seen this at. There is a heated viewing area on one corner of the rink and that is also where the concession stand is on the upper level. You do have to go up stairs to access the bleachers and concessions. Herb Brooks National Hockey Center - St Cloud

 Main rink: 🧊 Practice rink: 🧊🧊🧊 This is my favorite rink(the main rink)! This is the rink where I learned to love the sport by watching the St. Cloud State University Huskies play. Every weekend home game this is where we would spend our time while in college. We still go to games but we don't have time to go as often as we would like to.  Main rink: This rink gets the best rink rating! No matter when you are there or what you are watching the temp is always prefect! I can be there watching the Huskies play a game, my son play a game or my daughter practice there and I'm always comfortable in just a sweatshirt!  Practice rink: This rink is not my favorite. It's always cold-game or practice. The metal bleacher are horrible and not a lot of seating. The "glass" is very scratched up which making watching or taking pictures very difficult.
