Graham Arena Complex-Rochester

 Rink #1?

Rink #2 🧊🧊🧊

Rink #3 🧊🧊🧊🧊

Rink #4 🧊🧊🧊

Wow, I was warned about the coldness of this arena but did not know exactly what I was in for. I love tournaments because we get to see new rinks and hopefully play different teams. I don't like the hotel and the business of it but that just comes with living the hockey life. It's helpful to know what rink you are going to be playing on before you come to this arena so you know which side to better park on and where the rink is. There is a handy Parking and Entrance map that I found on Rochester's youth hockey website that was helpful with this and I will post that down below. Very nice open lobby area in the middle of the arena. There is seating in different areas and a nice concession stand. This arena has a walking track-it's on rink #4!

Rink #1: I briefly set foot into this rink just to see what it had for seating and comfort level. I'm guessing it's going to be around the 3-4 ice cube ranking but wasn't in there long enough to give a fair judgement call on it. There is less seat in this rink than 2&4 and more seating than 3 has. I think just a couple sets of shorter bleachers on one side of the rink.

Rink #2: Lots of bleacher seating on one side of the rink. The heaters were going and it felt like a 3 ice cube while I was in there. I wasn't in there for a whole game just to watch the last period of another game to see who we were going to play next.

Rink #3: This one was a solid 4 ice cube. You could see you breathe and we looked like a group of chain smokers with every breathe we took. Not only was this a cold rink but it was mostly standing room only. There was a "heated" viewing area center ice that was a little warmer than standing around the rink and maybe about 10-15 chairs in there. this rink was a little harder to find the entrance to but the map was helpful. The other rinks are in the lobby area.

Rink #4: I love arenas that have walking tracks and this is one of those arenas and its around rink #4! I made use of the walking track for 3 out of the 4 games that we played there that weekend. lots of seat on the one side of the rink. It was the concrete style bleachers. You could access this rink from the upper or lower level.

Here is a little extra stuff for things around the area: Like I mentioned earlier, this was a tournament weekend spent here. Our first game was @ 12:45 on Friday. We were just rolling into town when there was a "weird" noice and feel coming from one of my wheels. We got to the rink and my husband checked my tires and found that 3 lug nuts were loose on one of my wheels. He tightened them and said we should find a tire place to make sure the are torqued to the right amount after the game. I told him that I would find a place and take the vehicle there while you boys get ready for the game so we have less to worry about after the game. I looked up places and found one near by right away and told him where I was going and would back as soon as I was able. He looked up and said it's right there, it was just on the other ride of the road from the parking lot! https://www.seversonautoservice.com/ I can't say enough good things about this business! They went above and beyond for us. I went in and told them my story about how we just got into town for a tournament and we had some lug nuts loose and asked if they could just please check to make sure the were all torqued to the right amount so we stay safe while in town and on our drive back home. They asked for my keys and said they would like to make sure no damage was done with them being loose and then they would check that they were all torqued correctly. They put it on a lift took the tire off and checked for any damage and then checked all the tires and gave my keys back and said "good luck this weekend on your tournament and have a great weekend!"

We did a team lunch at the most amazing place and these are starting to be a thing and I love them! We ate at https://workshopfoodhall.com/! I would strongly recommend going here! They had 4 different food places/restaurants, 1 dessert place and 1 bar.
